Ready for a fresh start

A little preparation gives us room to do the agreed work. Here is what to expect.

Start with a plan

Before the visit is confirmed

For larger jobs, we may suggest a walkthrough before giving the quote.

Describe the space

Share its approximate size, rooms, condition and preferred frequency.

Confirm the checklist

We discuss the tasks, materials and any areas we must leave alone.

Agree the quote and time

We confirm the price and an available visit before arranging access.

Before we arrive

A short preparation checklist

For an empty home, arrange cleaning after the movers and trades have finished.

Clear the surfaces

Put away loose belongings and papers. Empty cupboards if their interiors are included.

Make room to work

Remove boxes from the areas we will clean. Arrange any heavy furniture moves yourself.

Check water and power

We need working water, electricity and safe access to the agreed rooms.

Tell us about pets

Agree a safe place for pets and tell us which doors should stay closed.

At the start

Point out the surfaces that need care

Show us natural stone, wood, fresh paint and recently fitted floors. Share any care instructions and products you want us to avoid. Some new finishes need time to cure. We leave a surface untouched if it is not ready for cleaning.

Arrange access separately

Keep keys, alarm codes and detailed access instructions out of the contact form. After the visit is confirmed, we agree privately how to enter, which areas are restricted and how to lock up.

On the day

During your first clean

For recurring cleaning, we use what we learn to refine the next visit’s checklist with you.

Check the priorities

We confirm the agreed tasks and note any changes to the space.

Work through the rooms

We clean the accessible areas on the checklist with suitable supplies.

Discuss any extra work

If the condition differs or a task needs more time, we agree the next step before adding work.

Review the result

Where possible, we walk through the completed tasks with you and note any limits or follow-up work.
